What happened last week
First of all, I migrated from Revue to Substack. I got used to writing in Revue, but the current owner seems a bit chaotic, so I decided to move all I have to a bit calmer place.
Last week was terrific for me. At Kinsta, I was responsible for launching our first-ever Code Challenge. During the next 14 days, we will post different tasks about Static Site Generators.

Marcel Pociot shows how to create a GitHub bot that runs PHP inside the GH issues. I’m impressed with its idea and its very clever use of Postmark.
A Guide To Image Optimization On Jamstack Sites — Alba Silvente
A very detailed guide about optimizing images sums up all the good practices in one place. Also, it’s good to see that Alba mentioned GH actions that can compress images.
ArrowJS — Justin Schroeder
ArrowJS is a fascinating experiment showing that pure JavaScript can be an excellent tool for creating reactive interfaces without bloated frameworks.
