What happened last week
Last week, I decided to give Storyblok another go. I remember trying it some time ago and wasn’t happy with the experience, but now my opinion about it has changed a bit. I really enjoyed the amount of control I had over everything (both the data structure and the code components). I know I have only scratched the surface, but I hope to play more with it soon. Maybe I’ll try converting my Pacamara theme to use it.
Apart from this, I had a chance to try Starfield last week. It's enormous, but empty. Many design and level design decisions are bad, navigating in cities is horrible, most travel happens by quick travel, and equipment management is bad...
I thought that Fallout 4 was Bethesda’s worst game I played (I didn’t play F76), but Starfield is much worse.
That said - I’m going back to Baldur’s Gate.

In this video, Ali points out how companies sometimes treat DevRels. I totally agree with her - because many companies hire DevRels because everyone else is doing so, most of those companies don’t know how to benefit from them.

Celebrating ten years of Hacktoberfest!
This year, we will be celebrating the tenth edition of Hactoberfest. DigitalOcean decided to move away from the t-shirts. I hope there will be at least a chance to buy them because I really love them for both quality and design.
