What happened last week
Last week was shitty, to say at least. Mostly because there are layoffs happening at Kinsta, where I work. I’m not sure if I will be affected or not at the moment (it depends on many things), but I’m already working on plan B.
So, if you are looking for a DevRel or a person who can connect technical skills with non-technical, then ping me.
Of course, I’m not the only one :( Keep an eye on Linkedin and Twitter - more employees will probably post something similar soon.

Building a website? This is how I do it — Maciek Palmowski
To cheer myself up, I wrote an article explaining how I pick the best stack when working with clients. Tools are one thing, but what’s most important is not to look only at the technical side of the solution (trendy framework, etc). Think about the ease of use and maintenance, too.

Why I Switched Back From DevRel to Engineering — Catalin Pit
Catalin’s story of switching back to engineering is quite similar to a few more I have seen lately. Companies do not fully understand how to use DevRel’s potential and transform them into marketing/influencer roles. This leads to frustration.
Index Fieldtypes in Statamic — Marty Friedel
Marty did an amazing job explaining what Index Fieldtypes are and how to use them.
Astro 3.4 just got released, and this release is full of goodies. Page partials (great if you are working with HTMX), better image optimization and dev overlay for better developer experience.
