What happened last week
A week before, I mentioned that layoffs are happening and I may be affected by them. I’m still not sure about my future, but during the last week, thanks to the huge help of others, I managed to find some opportunities that made me feel better about my future.
Apart from this - today, together with Alvaro, we’ll be doing a stream about TresJS.

It wasn’t the best week for Cloudflare - they experienced two major outages, which affected millions of users worldwide. On the other hand - their Post Mortems after each outage are amazing - they always explain what and why happened and how they plan to fix it. Every company should implement such an approach.

Kent explains why going with SQLite, in many cases, can be a great idea. Not only it’s fast, it’s still SQL, but also it’s just a file, so moving it around is much simpler. There are some downsides, but in most cases, the pros outweigh the cons.

It was a great week for Angular - they showed the new branding, documentation, and today, Angular v17 was released.
I must admit that I love the new colors and logo - it’s less corporate and more cool.

I’m a sucker for testing new CMSs. VaahCMS looks quite interesting; it’s headless, and it’s written in PHP - that's a lot of green flags for me. Can’t wait to test it.
